Un día que no se olvida: Así recordaron las celebridades el 9/11 (+Fotos)

Hoy, se conmemora en Estados Unidos el 19 aniversario de los atentados del 11 de Septiembre tras el ataque terrorista a las Torres Gemelas.

Casi 3,000 personas perdieron la vida al impacto de los aviones contras los edificios de las Torres Gemelas, en el World Trade Center.

 A 19 años de ése día en el que el mundo se paralizó, la herida que todavía duele, el mundo perdió algo que no es posible recuperar, el sentido de seguridad.

La trágica fecha, fue recordada por los famosos a través de redes sociales con mensajes conmovedores  que le rinden honor y respeto a la ciudad de Nueva York y a sus víctimas.

Today I’m reminded how in the wake of unimaginable tragedy, Americans set aside their disagreements, paused anything else they were doing and pulled together to fight evil and help victims. Thank you to the heroes. My heart is still with all of the victims and their loved ones.

Today we remember those we lost on 9/11. I was able to visit the memorial last time I was in NYC, and really felt the weight that this site carries. Lately, our leadership has been dismissive of the men and women who have served, risked or lost their lives for the country. But we can #neverforget to respect, uplift, and support the brave first responders, firefighters, paramedics, doctors and nurses on the front lines (then and now, too)...

A few days ago, I was on the Long Island Sound. Suddenly, the sky shifted, and I saw the sunset reflected on the new World Trade Center, a burst of light in these days of so much destruction, a reminder of time passed. It felt like an offering. To those we lost that day, I will try to honor you by living life in appreciation for all its glory, in reverent love and overflowing gratitude for all that it is, whatever it is. To all the babies on that day who are now full grown, I am holding special space for you. To all the first responders, fire fighters, police officers, EMTs, everyone who was there fighting and helping, I honor you. To the loved ones whose hearts woke in fresh grief this morning, I send all my sympathy. To New York, who is going through another hard time, I love you. We can never forget. #september11 #neverforget
