Protestan contra marca de ropa de Kim Kardashian y la obligan a desistir de su producción

Así como Carolina Herrera tuvo una fuerte protesta por parte de México por considerar que la diseñadora plagió sus bordados de la cultura oaxaqueña, ahora le tocó el turno a Kim Kardashian. 

La celebridad sacó al mercado hace menos de una semana su marca de fajas y la llamó “Kimono”. 

Kim posteó: “Finalmente puedo compartir con ustedes este proyecto que he estado desarrollando el último año. He estado apasionado por esto desde los 15 años. Kimono es mi oferta en ropa moldeadora y solución para mujeres que realmente trabajan”. 

Y sí, se le veía muy contenta a Kim, sin embargo en Japón no les cayó nada bien que haya utilizado el nombre “kimono” para sus prendas. Por lo que la estrella de reality shows Kim Kardashian fue acusada de apropiación cultural por usar el nombre de "Kimono" para su nueva marca de ropa interior. 

Luego de esto, Kim tuvo que echar para atrás su producción y cambiar de nombre a su producción. Por tanto, este lunes anunció: “Mis marcas y productos están construidos con inclusividad y diversidad y luego de una reflexión cuidadosa estaré lanzando mi Solutionwear brand bajo un nuevo nombre. Estaremos en contacto pronto”. 

Así las cosas, las celebridades y diseñadores deberán pensarse dos veces ser políticamente correctos para no ofender a nadie.

Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year. I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years.
